Yes there is the Coach from UC-Davis, but I have heard that there will be another sprints Coach as well coming in from the Northeast.

My feeling is that he realized that the OSU women's program cares next to nothing about anything other than sprints/hurdles and figured he could be more successful at LSU.
This is spot on I spent some time with KD this spring talking about training and program mangement. One thing was certain he knew about training and he hada ood rappert with his athletes. It was clear he felt left behind.

I just heard from several Western Kentucky University athletes that their long time women's distance coach Michelle Scott got canned.
New XC coach announced coming from Murray State in Kentucky.
Is this woman legit?
What do the current runners think?
She seemed to do well at Murray State.
Nick McDonough accepted the Kentucky distance job this evening.
Must be Murray States volunteer assistant?
I like it. Why not hire one of them as the head coach though. It's a distance only program. The HC is now a high paid secretary/recruiter? Or maybe they are going to add other events now even without a usuable track.
The athletes should feel good about the hire though.

How do you know ? Is there proof of this ?
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Has anyone considered that perhaps this is just the Ole Miss coach putting this out here to test the reactions and find out what people know/feel about this guy as a possible candidate before he actually makes a decision? If any of this other stuff is true, not a very creative choice.

No way--that would be an extremely pathetic way to find interest in a potential hire. No capable head coach would make a hiring decision based on anonymous message board posts.

So who do you think has been posting these? First John Hayes, then Pete Watson, Then Erin Dawson, then Ryan VanHoy

Ryan Vanhoy to Ole Miss
Probably adding other events because my friend said he saw a girl sprinter talking to the HC about walking on. But ya the AD should of hire Wick as HC. There should be more roles as an HC than recruiting. SJSU got SJCC's track.
Also look at both coaches FB's. Theres evidence that they are at SJ.
Yes she was the volunteer assistant
"Nick McDonough accepted the Kentucky distance job this evening."
is this true? If so good for Kentucky...Nick is a great coach.
anybody know anything about that Northwestern State gig?

This is true.
What is Nick's background? Just not familiar with him and Dunn made some inroads with recruits.
Not true at all. Not even being considered
The NYU guys got the email from him this morning. done deal.
what up with purdue jumps!
The better question is why go to WKU in the first place? Seriously.
Nick won DIII national Championship in xc at nyu. They are a VERY good distance team and he is also very active in hosting meets.
