They're great. Much more convenient than a long sleeve
Either carry them or tuck them into your shorts; they weight like 20g each. You don't always know when you start if it's going to be too cold for short sleeves.[/quote]
That's going to be annoying carrying them & I don''t need to tuck anything in my shorts
Like I said the vest and arm warmers combo is the most stupid. I once saw someone driving an open top car wearing a hijab. It nmakes as much sense as that
If it gets too warm for long sleeves then you didn't need them in the first place

I've always felt that if it's cold enough for a t-shirt, then it's cold enough for a long sleeve. Shirtless or long sleeves is the only thing that makes sense to me.
Good thing you get to decide what counts as gear.
So, we have long sleeve shirt - no; arm warmers - yes; how about gloves? shoes? hat?
I love all the dudes on here talking about how "tough" they are running in 40 degree temperatures. I live on the Canadian prairies - I've regularly run in -40C. Arm warmers aren't going to make you look any more or less tough when you think wearing a singlet in spring weather makes you look hardy.
Do u wear it over or under your clothes?

So Evan Jager and Matt Tegenkamp are toolbags for wearing arm warmers?
Yes.
Did a hill workout in the wind yesterday and the coldest parts of my body, by far, were my forearms!
I don't wear arm warmers, but I think it's stupid to be all "people who wear them look like p-ssies who can't handle the cold" when they're talking about running in 40-50F temperatures. Like anyone's impressed at how tough someone running in warm weather in a singlet is.
And I'm sure there's runners from Nunavut being like "Canadian Prairies? That's warm you p--sy! -30 is a thaw!"
Wow, the filter forced me to edit that. Hilarious that you can postbthe most racist stuff about black apes or whatever but get a scolding message about "contributing positively" for p--sy. And I'm a woman!

I never even wear a shirt unless the Temp is below 40 degrees. Arm Warmers? Are you serious? I live in Houston and when temps get below 60 the people start wearing gloves and jackets. I scoff at them. I never wear even a shirt unless temp is below 40 - Get tough people! Not even getting tough - Think a bit! If it is 55 or even 45 - you do not need gloves, arm warmers, jacket - even a shirt!
This is a completely useless post. Stick to a houston running forum for helmet haired runners.

pushing up the sleeves is a great way to ruin a technical shirt.
Wait... what?

Yes.
How enlightening. I guess Shalane is a toolbag, too.
