There is a series called Sherlock, but each episode is about 1hr30. They pretty much function as stand alone stories. Set in modern-day London--really well done.
Dust to Glory (documentary on Baja 1000)
Fastest (documentary on Moto GP, mainly about Valentino Rossi, simply amazing what these guys do)
Doc Martin (English sitcom about a small town doctor)

Just watch Breaking Bad seasons 1-4
I'm as far as series 2. I think series 5 is on there now. I tend to watch English sitcoms and drama on Netflix.
MadMen is on there of course.
Both versions of True Grit are available. The Artist. Snatch. Tarantino movies. There's a huge range of classic movies. I love Office Space, who doesn't? Trainspotting. Death at aa Funeral the better British original. Klown is a great but incredibly crude Swedish movie. Dead Snow is brilliant if you like Nazi Zombie movies.
Considering it's free with a Netflix subscription, it's not bad, particularly if you like overseas movies.
warrior
Yes, the title is gay as gay gets, but it's sick. Trust me.
Trainspotting, Good Will Hunting
Paris is Burning
Great movie, you will laugh, you will cry, you will fall in love with the characters only to find out about their tragic ending
Nude Nuns with Big Guns
Are there nude nuns in it? Yes, lots of them.
Do they carry big guns? Yes, they do.
Do they shoot up lots of bad guys? Yes, they do.
It is actually surprisingly entertaining b-movie stuff.
Bones Brigade. Most recent documentary from Stacey Peralta about the SoCal skaters in the early 80's. Really well done. I grew up looking up to those guys and to see them as aging athletes looking back on what made them great was beautiful. Rodney Mullen, Lance Mountain and Tony Hawk especially made it for me.
Jackie Brown, Brokeback Mountain, Things to do in Denver When Your Dead, Steel Magnolias, Nothing But the Truth, and Seeking Justice. If you like scary movies, you cannot go wrong with Insidious or Lovely Molly.

Syncs Netflix with Rotten Tomatoes scores.
The Man From Nowhere is really good. I just watched Goon and it was hilarious.
I would also recommend Oldboy.
There's good documentaries:
I just watched Herb and Dorothy the other night. I chose it because my wife's an artist, but, actually, it was really good.
It's available elsewhere on the intertubes, but When We Left the Earth is really really good.
And, I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned already, but, Hoop Dreams is available on instant. I can't sing the praises of that film highly enough.
There is a whole thread on reddit about this you MORAN.
The just put Rosemary's Baby up. It's a 98% on RT.com and one of the scariest, best horror movies about all time.

On what? On Herb and Dorothy??? On documentaries on Netflix? On the oh-so-dated use of MORAN??
Please clarify.
Wash Dry and Spin Out.
Just watched the expendables last night.
