Is Honolulu a tough course or did Kipsang just do the minimum amount necessary to win? 2:12:30 is obviously not all that quick for him.
Very humid for the first 60-80 minutes; nice breeze there after. He ran for the win today nothing more; he went by me at 6 mile near 30:30; that 2:12:30 ~=2:09:00 on a Berlin type ... Just ran to win IMHO....

Wind was a significant factor. It's not a fast course. No pacers.
