So it was the gun I mean car that killed him?
This has nothing to with the sport of NFL football. Young people with big money make irresponsable choices.
Like the guy from "Jackass" Ryun Dunn who went to a bar and drank and drove 140 mph afterwards in a 90 thousand dollar car because he was showing off and killed himself and a passenger.
The KC Chiefs player had guns all around the house. There are country white people with arsenals in their house in the rural area I live. They love guns. Mainly hunting. But also handguns. For what? Shooting pumpkins in the field? To protect themselves and their family against an invasion? They have every right to be able to do this.
Still the occasions of someone armed saving themselves and their family by being armed will always be dwarfed by the daily American deaths from guns by unstable people, children playing.
If Jovan Belcher didn't have all those guns around and was half-drunk he might have walked out in a fight with his girlfriend and cooled down.
Josh Brent, who was the driver of the vehicle, was a two-time runner-up in Illinois in the shot put. He was extremely good at Bloomington Central Catholic H.S.

Unlike for 35,000 or so other Americans each year, in this case, a gun was not the cause of death this time
He was obviously in an irrational state of mind, the gun just made it slightly faster and louder. There are many ways he could have killed her and himself without one. The gun did not make this happen, Javon did.
