Here is my guess: 18 going on 19 next year. What do you guys think?

At least a year younger than Verzbicas would have been had he returned for his senior year. At least six years younger than Miles Batty was last year in college
20, at least that's what he told me
Early 30s. His performances will start to decline with age pretty soon.

No. Verzbicas would have turned 19 midway through the school year had he returned for his senior year. Cheserek will be 19 this year as was Futsum was when he graduated last spring. Futsum was 1 year older than LV when they raced at FL 2010 yet people were stil complaining about LV's age.
Funny how all these people compplained about LV's age when he is the only one who did the right thing.
If Cheserek would have taken down Reina's course record at Balboa last year, it would have been fine. If he does this year, should be an asterisk.

LV was born 1/6/93 and so, had he returned for his senior year, would have been nearly 19.5 upon graduating. Seeins as how many people graduate on schedule at age 17.5 (me for example), he was anywhere from 1 to 2 years older than the average student in his graduating class. Yet I don't recall the constant threads about his age in letskkk.com. He did opt to graduate a year "early", which was actually on time so his possible age advantage never really came to fruition.
Cheserek, on the other hand, is constantly being slammed as over-age. I have no idea what his age is as he, unlike LV, does not have a wikkipedia entry. However, according to an ESPN program aired 2/29/12, he was under a8 at the time. Which means that he will not be 19 by 3/1/13 and he graduates 3 mos later. Hence, LV was an older freshman, soph, and junior than Cheserek.
Your memory is faulty or you have an agenda as LV was constantly questioned/slammed for his age on all the track boards. Cheserek's birthday is in early Feb, making him almost exactly the same age as LV on a comparative basis. The difference is that LV pulled the plug with a year to go, so he left high school at a completely normal age.
Sounds like a pretty poor guess.

I know you're trolling, but most US students graduate after their 18th birthday. I can't understand how most people don't know this. You and other examples (like German Fernandez) were just really young when you graduate. 19.5 is only a year older than the average high school graduate, which is why he graduated a year early...

Are we talking chronological age or developmental/training age? As we all know, maturation and performance marks are better understood in relation to developmental as opposed to chronological age.

It really depends on the state or school district cutoff dates. From my experience back in the day in NY, I'd say that at least 1/3 of the students hadn't reached their 18th birthday when they graduated in mid-June. I didn't hit 18 until the end of the summer right before college started and I was hardly the youngest in my grade.
bump
Young er than all of the BYU guys, I guess.
Probably 20 going on 21 now. He's a punk, so I believe that he is truly a college-aged kid.
