by who ?
& in a low key meet that has no description of what distance he ran baton in hand/line-to line - 400 or 395 ? or 390 ???
he was best 10k runner by end '84 with exploits of winning '83 & '84 golds & coudn't be outkicked by anyone
he wouda destroyed likes of yifter in even his '80 form
if you can't offer alternative opinion of watching cova's 400, then don't waste board's time
idiot
we aren't talking 35'00 college kids but elite sub-27 guys
they can run a 400 as techically good as can be asked
they just don't run them because
- it offers no useful info - we know 51/52 is expected
- risk of injury which is paramount
the block argument is drivel
they are not asked to perform inhuman contortions, just adopt a crouch position
if they are so physically handicapped that they are incapable of such, then they shoudn't be running on circuit
err...
please explain how less than 10m flying start solves all the problems associated with a block start ???
when your "pretty good" seen, includes canova's 26'30 - 26'52 calibre guys, come back to the table...
