I want to hear some good/funny stories of people busting out MASSIVE PR's - like running times no one thought they were capable of - only to go back to running mediocre times after that.
I had a friend who was a 15:20/32:20ish guy who got entered in a 10K in a big invitational with a pretty aggressive seed time. To everyone's shock, he stuck with the pack and got dragged along to a 30:40 (no, he didn't miss a lap, we checked...). I think his PR after that was like 32 flat. Weird.
