Being honest is not the same as being an arsehole. That's the thing a lot of people refuse to grow up and understand. Yes, it is perfectly accurate to comment that Webb's times are in a decline and to predict that he'll never set another PR. It is another thing altogether to communicate this is a spiteful and cruel way. So here's a newsflash the rest of the adults in the room learned a long time ago: being honest is never an excuse for being a jerk. You can do the former without the latter, if you've a mind to. |
