Conova is my choice ~ I wish Ryan the best ~ Get healthy and come back stronger than ever in 2013. Would Love to see Ryan run a WC Marathon to get more Olympic Style Marathon experience.

Pick one, any one.
A self-coached athlete has an idiot for a client.
Canova would be awesome. Ryan and Sara could move to Kenya and do some missionary work on the side while Ryan trains. That would fit in nicely with their lifestyle.
I think it's too late. He could be better than he was this year, but the best years of his career are gone.
Ryan Hall, Chris Derrick and Amy Hastings will all be training in the same location by the first of the year. As much as I would like it to be in California, it will NOT. This board is going to be shocked.

The moon? I wouldn't be one bit shocked by anything Hall does at this stage
I think he should go with bangalangadanga.
I would guess Hansons but not sure how that would work with the Asics/Brooks thing.
Hall and Hastings are both marathoners and Hansons seem to have a good handle of the marathon.
Derick was roommates with Riley who has already signed with Hansons.
I would suggest he go with Dane Rauschenberg. Dane rane lots of marathons in a relatively short time period. The man is a god among men.
Can´t trust that he quiot out from the worlds best coach Sir God.

Asics contract ends in December. I'd doubt Brooks has the $$ available. Their running prom dollars are knee deep invested with Rock and Roll Series globally.
Hudson or Canova's group are the two.

Well, he clearly didn't get the job done with God calling the shots, so perhaps he should sell his soul and let Satan write the workouts.

Ummmm maybe I missed something but Amy Hastings is headed to Providence to train with Kim Smith this fall.
Why doesn't he train with Rupp?
He needs to team up with Wesley Korir.

only a handful of distance coaches in the US could improve Hall's position. none of these would be the RW/RT hyped coaching stars; none would be those serving Nike Inc.
Canova would overtrain Hall along similar lines as Mahon, that's coaching that gets Hall further into a corner, not out. You can only go to the well so many times with the mega-mileage/mega-quality.
Hall is actually barking up the right tree on his own, (reduced mileage/ higher quality w/ added precision in workout selection) especially because he left Mammoth so overtrained. He's best off with a regular consult, and periodic 2-3 week visits of day to day coaching, not a coach in the usual sense. High/Low not regular altitude; he's done a lot of things right...

That actually makes sense.
God couldnt handle the job so I dont know who could.
