Whaddaya mean, wrong RoJo? That's like saying "The Iliad" was not written by Homer, but by another poet of the same name.
Big difference: Oregon's RoJo has class.
That is an insult to Coach Johnson. Check the results from the young men and women under his tutorledge since his arrival. The track and field program has done nothing but flourish and progress to 3 National titles. Coach Johnson has worked hard to recruit great student - athletes to U of O, so his getting the Directors job is from hard and dedication to the program and not from serving someone.

You're not so good at double-entendre are you?
I'm pretty sure it was a joke, Odell--you know, "head man" and "blow job"?
In any case, the word is "tutelage."
Horrible decision. They've done terrible at outdoors, the only reason they are even in a title hunt is because of Vin and the recruits. Oh well, Oregon can blow another outdoors season.

Robert Johnson is quite arguably one of the most knowledgeable technicians in t&f today.
"Vin Lananna will transition into a larger role that will benefit the entire University of Oregon and TrackTown USA, while Robert Johnson will be elevated to head track and field and cross country coach, University of Oregon Director of Athletics Rob Mullens announced Tuesday."
I don't understand why Robert Johnson is head cross country coach as well. Andy Powell is still the distance coach, right? Does Johnson just have the title of head Track and Field and Cross Country coach because he's in charge of the whole program?
Clearly they need to hire someone named Bill...

Clearly you're at the head of your class.

That was a (get on your) knee slapper!
Who is coaching the throws?
Eik Whitsitt is the throws coach. With him aboard, Oregon is likely to be competitive in the one area where they have been lacking the last few years. It seems the rich keep getting richer, at in track and field that is:
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
