I probably know nearly 100 people personally who have run marathons. There may only be only a few people whose exact time I know, but for every single of those nearly 100 people I can correctly tell you, within 5-10 minutes,,their best marathon time I am aware of. I don't confuse the people who ran two-fifty something with over four hours. I don't confuse the people who were fast when they were younger with those who were fast when they were older, or were never fast. I am not a genius, or a liar, or saying I am clear headed enough to be the Vice-President.
I would not ever, ever vote for Obama/Biden with too many policy disagreements to list, but I am seriously doubting Ryan has the mental capacity or level of honesty I assumed he had before all of this came to light. I am several years older than Ryan but if one of my high school or college teammates/classmates was this far off in a discussion about his athletic achievements, we'd assume he had grown up to be a massive liar, or was senile and blameless. The dialogue is too explicit for the "oh, he meant three, not two" defense.
I'm not saying Romney has lost my vote, but I'm really concerned he picked the wrong running mate. Why is this so hard for today's Republican party?
