How does Stanford's incoming freshmen class look? Are there any big recruits?

As director of the program, or just men's coach?
GT as in Georgia Tech? I can't find a Miltenberg on their website
Georgetown-I see the confusion, GT is a bit misleading

Wow I hope (and expect) that this is just an ubsubstantiated rumor.
Good choice. Stanford won 16 medals at the 2012 Olympics.
Stanford made a great hire.

He is obviously a good coach and won a national title with the ladies at G'town, but this a major job for someone with no director experience.
I heard second-hand through someone that interviewed that Karlgaard wanted the new director to retain Patti Sue Plumer and Toby Stevenson as assistants due to their loyalty (both as alums and for sticking around during the coaching shift when they were told they were not contenders for the head job). Yet, Chris coached only women, as did PSP. Interesting to see how that works itself out.
I would assume that PSP and Stevenson have signed contracts for this year, as most schools contracts start July 1st. So, they will potentially have 2 womens-only coaches?
In fairness, Peter Tegen was a womens-only coach that did a good job with the guys at Stanford during his time there.

if this is true, a great hire!!!
Again, will he be the director of track and field replacing Floreal or the new men's coach replacing Dunn?
Rojo to GTown women in 2013? Can live between Ballmore and DC.
Andy Powell of Oregon turned the job down and now Stanford is scrambling to make a hire before the athletes show up next week. Hopefully they can get someone in place soon- Chris and Ray are the other two finalists, I'm told.
Rumor confirmed by kid I know at Stanford.
Why would AP take a job at a Top 4 program where the chances of being fired are so high ? Better to stay in an unassuming small unknown college town with little risk and enjoy raising the family.
Ray who?
Like Oregon is an unknown and unassuming track school. Gimme a break!
