Seriously... I have been running in the Brooks Cadence and the Kinvara for about 2 years now... I upped my training to about 80-90 miles a week and got a couple pairs of Vomeros based on the increased cushion and the employee's recommendation. Worst decision ever.
First of all, they are like huge sponges. Why in the heel would Nike make a shoe that collects sweat and stores it for days on end? They weigh like 3x their normal amount after an easy 10 miler. I don't even sweat that much.
I was wearing them on a long run this weekend in the rain and I felt like I was weaing ankle weights. After 10 miles, the rubber came off the heel. I mean WTF!?!?!?
