Waiting for confirmation but if true that eliminates one school from the official visits a couple of my kids will be taking this fall.
Wasn't last year her first year coaching at any program ever? They can't possibly be giving the Stanford program to a woman in her second year of coaching.
Stanford invitational xc entry form
Interim head coach, you jackass.
Well, XC has already started do you think they are going to bring in a new coach during the season?
Probably not. But "interim head coach" does not mean "new head track and xc coach". It means she's holding a place while they search for a new coach. She could possibly be on the list of people they're considering but she is not the new head coach.
True. But buy it looks like she will be running the XC program this year.

How do you figure xc has already started? Camp doesn't start for almost 2 weeks and classes don't start for a month. So how has it started?
I have heard that the new coach is currently coaching at an Ivy. Maybe they are longing for the days of Vinny!
It'c clear now they fired Dunn & Floreal soon before or after the new A/D showed up from Delaware. Pretty brutal I heard. As bad as the three separate times then Gerard, Weir, Lananna were fired. Stanford Athletics is not kind to it's employees.

Maybe follow the same pattern and try to get Mark Coogan?
Doug Padilla de verdad
How is Stanford's team looking this year anyway? Do they have any big recruits? Will the teams be a factor at nationals?
Doug would make a great XC Coach at Stanford. His years of international running experience and his amazing positive outlook on life, will be a great example for the young athletes that Stanford is looking to get.

Had Dolan gone to Stanford instead of Penn it would have been even more of a shakeup than when Vin was there. You pretty much could have just handed then the xc trophy for the next few years immediately.

They're just waiting to see if Penn State will take the offer to buy out Beth Alford-Sullivan's contract so she can come back to the West Coast...
