Yes, you are. How in the hell could you be disappointed in and not proud of the women? They CRUSHED the competition in the 4x100 with a WR time, and CRUSHED the competition in the 4x400. They went 2-4-5 in a 100m race where 3rd and 5th were separated by 0.08 seconds. They took 1st and 3rd in the 400m; They went 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the 100m hurdles; they went 1st and 3rd in the 200m; and 2nd in the 400m. From the running events alone the US women racked up 10 total medals: 4 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze. |

Whoever did the splits made an error that most rookie coaches make. The split from the first to second runner should be taken at the 1 bend stagger line, not the 400m start line. After taking the splits myself (properly), you should take off about .8 from Trotter's time and add .8 to Felix's split. |
