It seems Tarmoh is not going to be on the 4x100m relay final lineup at these Olympic games. She let off a series of tweets about the issue: Her first Tweet read, “USATF boy. Never been this upset in my life. Time for a change.” That was followed almost immediately by a second Tweet reading, “Got third at trials and still gotta deal with politics. smh...” the abbreviation meaning shaking my head. A third successive Tweet read, “Wow..life isn't fair. My time will come.” About an hour after that, Tarmoh Tweeted, “Enough is enough.” |

No guts, no glory! She had her shot and backed down. |

With her attitude and her (ahem) "performance" on the 4X100 in Monaco, I would not want to be in Jon Drummond's shoes. Maybe the smartest guy around is John Smith who apparently wasn't willing to work with her a year ago....after Nike intervened she ended up with Bob Kersee. |

Will she get a medal just for being a reserve on the team? Doesn't deserve one. |
| Yep - she will |
| ||
She ran in the Heats so she will earn one assuming they medal like anyone else who ran in the heats and not in the finals |

You have to perform in the heats or final to get any medal. |

I would have thought part of her concession would surely have been a deal to be guaranteed on the relay, no? Why concede otherwise? |

That's just pure spite on the part of the USATF. I thought track was a pure sport, produce the times get the glory. Apparently being top four at the trials this year wasn't good enough. Especially after she didn't dance like the puppet the USATF wanted her to be. However, the chick hanging out with the convicted and banned drug supplier is all cool. |

oh she ran the heats? Those tweets are from 3 days ago though. Pretty unprofessional. |

So who runs? Felix, Jeter, Madison and....Knight or Lauryn Williams? Knight smoked her leg. Might be her. And Felix with a running start will crush the relay. As long as they don't drop the stick. Would be nice to see them take down the Olympic record, perhaps world record. Although with Jeter it still won't be a drug-free record. |

Well now just wait up a minute here. USATF is always on the lookout for the good of their athletes right? Riiiiiiight. As the third-place finisher at the trials, Tarmoh earned a spot on the 4x100. Screw the old white men at USATF making money at the expense of athletes. I'm rooting for Felix to drop the baton in the 4x100. GO USA |

I agree with now they... I guess it is too much to expect USATF to be the adult in the room. |

unfortuanately USATF is no longer run by some old White Man, but in stead by a Black Woman and her cronies, who controls all aspects of the Organization. |

Knight more than likely will take Tarmoh's place. Drummond has a raging hard on for her. |

And I thought letsrunners were the biggest whiners on the plants. Tarmoh wins a Gold medal for whining. She also, impressively, wins the Silver and Bronze. A whining medal sweep. |

I'm torn on what to think of Tarmoh. It's shitty how USATF didn't have a plan in place for that situation and it seems like they rushed her to make a decision, BUT you gain respect in that kind of situation by handling it like a champ. If someone shits on you then you just keep fighting. Complaining about it when there's nothing that can be done doesn't get you anywhere. |

Just because you're fast in an open race, doesn't mean you're the best person for a relay. You still have to be willing to effectively work with, and communicate with, the other members of the team. I suspect this may not be her strong suit... With her every comment via social media, I have less respect for her. She's apppearing to be that annoying athlete that believes the world should revolve around them. It's unfortunate, because she could have been that sympathetic figure that overcomes a huge disappointment and gains the support of everyone that likes to root for the underdog. But, it's hard to root for someone that seems to live with a sense of entitlement and isn't willing to fight for what they want. |

First of all, there is no way she runs ahead of Jeter, Madison or Felix. She can complain all she wants to about the Felix situation but with a running start, there may not be another woman on this planet faster than she is with top end speed. So it comes down to her and one other person. If the coach thinks the other person is better for the team then that is his choice. Tarmoh needs to get over it. She helped get the team to this point so just move on, get your medal and try and get better. Stop blaming everyone else for your own shortcomings Jeneba. |

If they were really looking out for USA's best interests they'd take Pharmalita Jeter off the team. When she tests positive the whole team will lose their medals. |
