I will not cheer for a twice busted drug cheat
I will not cheer for a twice busted drug cheat
me neither
My heart is breaking watching a clean, honest and classy guy like Gay cry he was robbed by a douchebag.
He was the one guy I didn't want to medal in the 100.
Then the druggie was hugging his damn drug dealer after the race.

He's not using now, if ever, so you can the hatin.
I hate this man more than any other in track and field. So he is running FASTER now than he was when he was on drugs???? This is so BS. That guy should be banned for life.
JUSTIN GATLIN GIVE BACK YOUR MEDAL WHEN YOU GET IT. YOU ARE A P.O.S.
What a joke. Gatlin runner faster now than he did when he was young and doped to the gills? Unreal.

Why is that a joke?

Gatlin actually ran 9.75 when he was doped, but they don't recognize that as his PR
Yes I am a troll but i cant help but feel sorry for all you two-faced people out there: You have never lied, you have never cheated, right. LOL I don't know why we as humans do those things but WE ALL HAVE DONE IT, DOING IT or WILL DO IT IN THE FUTURE. He followed the rules laid down- served his suspension (lost lots of money as a result), went through the necessary stages to get reinstated and is once again making a living doing what he loves.
Remember this: Jesus is love and forgiveness, regardless of anything we have ever done or will do in the future.
You are right. So nearly a decade later, clean, he is only .4 off his lifetime best?
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOk.
Yes. Gatlin has recently run the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fastest times of his life. He's dirtier than ever.
His times now are so close to his times four years ago; this strongly supports the theory that he was actually clean. Go on and hate you self-righteous haters.
Gatlin was serving a ban 4 years ago. At least understand the basics on Gatlin before you post.

This confirms that you're a troll. No one else respond.
On August 22, 2006 Gatlin agreed to an eight-year ban from track and field, avoiding a lifetime ban in exchange for his cooperation with the doping authorities, and because of the "exceptional circumstances" surrounding his first positive drug test.[11] However, on December 31, 2007, in the final ruling, Gatlin received a four-year ban from athletics. Furthermore, his 9.77 performance, set in May 2006, was annulled.

9.77 you retard...
yo fuhk da 100 all dem bitches aint sheeeit
Can people remind me of the two drug convictions Gatlin had. I can only find reference to a single doping offense committed in 2006:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/05/11/AR2010051103527.html
I see that he failed in trying to have it overturned, but I don't think that counts as a second offense:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Gatlin
Since both BBC and people here refer to two offenses, I want to know what the second one was.
Note that while I would have MUCH preferred Tyson Gay get a medal, I do find it hypocritical that the BBC said nothing about Dwain Chambers drug past when I saw him run, even if Dwain was more honest in admitting guilt.
Also I haven't been watching the NBC coverage much (thank you internet) but does anyone know if they have said much about drugs in the 100m (or elsewhere)?
