We're all overreacting to the performances here. Kenyans ran just for the final. See Kiprop leading in lane 2, and easing on his kick. Chepseba and Kiplagat with a pure team effort. Iguider looked good, but he like Laalou has a history of tanking finals after great semis showings. Makloufi I'm not sure, but that performance was less impressive than it appeared. |

Makhloufi stepped on the inside of the track on the backstretch, could that be grounds for dq if anyone appeals? What are Brannen and Driouch's chances of getting into the final on appeal? Brannen more likely because he was tripped and hit the deck, Driouch just look like he stumbled but could have been impeded. |
