Centro stayed out of trouble and did what was needed to qualify. Looked smooth too. What more do you want!?

Exactly right.
Centro qualified 3:41.39 in 5th while 7th and out was 3:41.52.
And that was with a desperate sprint finish.
Good job but not a smooth ride.
Did you watch the race? Centro was nowhere near a desperate sprint.

If you watched him, that finish was anything but desperate. Go back and watch Manzano -- that was a desparate sprint finish. Centro, not so much. .13 is a long ways in a kick.

Hard to tell. Centro NEVER looks like he is in a "desperate sprint".
There was nothing desperate about his finish, let's not dramatize. The guys in 7th and 8th were desperate. Leo finished in a panic. Wheating almost didn't run through the line even though he ran 7th, like he didn't know he was seven or was throwing in the towel maybe.
It could be worse..

Kenyans, plus we really should not celebrate his misfortune, Karma is a bitch (we have the semi-finals coming up) and we do not want something to happen to our people, or imagine if something like that happened to Rupp
No such thing as karma.
Seeing tweets from @ sportsnewsarena that Chepseba will be reinstated into semifinals.

Lauloo tested positive- no show!!!
I was suprise to see Nick Willis rejoice because of Chepseba's demise, Nick got let in when he felt during the World Championships last year
That's what she said...:-).
the results showed that as his season's best.
yeah 1500m SB. He did run 3:57 mile though. Achilles injury all year.
Willis didn't get let in to anything. What race are you talking about?
Couple articles saying this (though I dont think it was Centro). Let's hope it's true. I want to see the best athletes on the line.
During the post race interview Nick was happy that Chepseba was out and he said that they had a plan to get one of the Kenyans out
They paraphrased him but yeah... http://www.odt.co.nz/sport/london-olympics-2012/220187/willis-wins-1500m-heat
