Hi, im male going into my jr year of high school. ive been averaging about 40 miles a week but of late have been stepping up my mileage to the 50-60 range. My sophomore tracks PRs are as follows: 1600m- 4:38 3200m-9:56 800m-2:10. My sophomore xc prs were 15:50 in the 3 mile and 16:40 in the 5k. What would a good goal time be for my junior xc season? Thanks

Your 1600 and 3200 times are pretty good for a sophomore. The 800 time is not very impressive, so I'm assuming you don't have a 400 time to report?
I think a realistic goal would be to run under 16 minutes for the faster 5k courses. That means you need to be able to hit 5:10 mile splits or better.
Question: Was your 3200 time from track comfortable, or were you really pushing it?
