Nearly all women over 50 years old pretty much seem like men to me. No attraction whatsoever. Does this change as you get old? Does senility act like beer goggles? |

Yes. It's weird, but true. I am 37, and women in their 30s and 40s look hotter to me than teenagers or 20-somethings. Don't get me wrong, women 18-29 can still look hot, and are great to look at, but I wouldn't want to be with them. I guess . . . I don't know, they don't look "mature" or "wizened" or something. Julianne Moore is 51 . . . I wondered the same thing when I was younger. I don't know why it's the case, but it seems to be true for me . . . as I get older, I am attracted to older women. |

Unfortunately not. At 60, you're still going to be attracted to the same young hot babes you are now. Well, perhaps a hot 40yo woman will be looking good to you. But don't expect to be pulling an erection over a 60yo woman with major saggage going on. It's the unfortunate or fortunate part of life, depending on how you want to look at it. |

I heard a friend of mine ask another friend (who is overweight) if chubby guys are attracted to chubby girls or do they settle for them. His response was, are old men naturally attracted to old women (the guy who asked the original question is 17 years older than the chubby guy). My older friend said he still sees his wife as still looking lime the woman he married. He doesn't see her as she really is with all the wrinkles and things. He too said that you still find young women attractive but their maturity is a turn off. For me, as i get older, the age range i find attractive increases but have no interest in a much younger woman either. Maybe as we get older we still appreciate the beauty of younger women but put more emphasis on other things in the relationship like mutual interests. Maybe the gift is worsening eyesight with age. |

When you're in your mid to upper 20s, 18-21 yr olds look awesome. When you're in your 30s 18-21 yr olds look awesome, but suddenly you realize that you're starting to enter the "creepy" range. What you find yourself doing is seeing an attractive 18 year old, and saying, "Damn, her mother looks good, too." |

To answer the OP's question, it can happen pretty early. I had a summer job at a suburban newspaper when I was 19, and most of the other reporters were women about 37 to 43. I found several of them attractive. |

Men never stop appreciating the beauty of an attractive 18-25 year old woman. That said, as men get older though they treat beautiful young women the same way that they treat precocious 10 year old boys. Men will find them charming, nice to meet and briefly focus attention upon. However, after a brief conversation they should be excused from the table and asked to leave the room. |

Yeah more like you like what you can't have- and women in this age bracket should still look quite nice...old in my mind is 40+ when everything starts to sag (even the skin over their knee caps) and the facial wrinkles and prior sun damage sets in |
