"In this study, just 14 days of rhGH supplementation in healthy individuals increased collagen synthesis by up to 6-fold without causing any side effects", the Danes write. "An increase of this magnitude holds clinical perspectives in relation to traumatic musculoskeletal injuries, where the collagen matrix inevitably is damaged." All those highly paid athletes you see getting those platelet rich plasma and growth factor injections, guess what else is in them-- HGH. Guess what else, it works. Really, really well. |

For collagen synthesis, ok. But what does it do for performance and recovery and recovery time. For the collagen study, did it heal more collagen or heal the same amount faster (big difference)? |

Absolutely. There was a MMA guy who got busted. He wreaked his knee. He was fighting a month later. Went down to the judges if I remember correctly. He says HGH healed him. Hey bud go check out tracktalk.net. You will love their 1000 post doping discussion. Dpoed to the gills is the thread name. |

I don't see any problem with using technology to heal an injury. Why is this evil, but surgery and other drugs are fine? |

If HGH works so well at healing injuries would this study suggest that many chronically injured American elite athletes are indeed clean and do not use PEDs? |

Howabout don't get hurt in the first place. Also strengthening and training periodization. Also natural HGF boosting through good diet and sleep. |

Will it cure achilles trouble better than eccentric drops?? If so, can someone hook me up with an HGH supplier? |

hgh should be used like epo .. given to people who need it for survival or to make their lives go from awful to livable .. shouldn't be used in sports |

Remember Ben Johnson before Seoul. He was injured. Went to the islands for 6 weeks to be treated by his doctor and came back to win the olympics in 9.79. Yes, it works... |

So should it be allowed for injuries? I know A Rod, Andy Petite, and Tiger Woods have used it. I'm sure Peyton Manning has used it. Or if he hasn't, he's an idiot. Major League baseball doesn't even TEST for it, so I'll guarantee you most million dollar pitchers are shooting it at the first twinge. It also helps eyesight in older players. Just wondering, why does the NBA seem to get a free pass on the PED issue? Do they have a test for HGH? Seems like very young phenoms who might have height issues would be the most logical candidates for HGH treatment. If you can get another couple inches and go from 6'7" to 6'9" that could potentially mean tens of millions of dollars, or even more. |

when people start to use EPO and HGH for "off-label" purposes, life expectancy is going to jump (for those that can afford it). like any life-saving medication/procedure, how do we as a society decide who gets what? |

First and last lesson people, HGH is not an anabolic steroid. There is a very big difference. |

It does not increase healing 6 times faster, it just increases collagen synthesis. Please trot out the study that compares the actual healing times and return to activity. I'm sure it's much improved with HGH but not something like 10 days vs 60 days for like a partial tendon tear. |

On the NBA thing, no. Guys that tall do not respond well to drugs. First of all you would need dosages that are used for animals, like Horses and Bulls. Secondly it would completely f*** them up for life. Yes they'd have a great career, but they'd be did by 50. Thats with modern medicine trying to keep them alive. HGH is a great thing, but it also can cause tumors and cancer to grow at a faster rate, and effect your chances of getting tumors or cancer in the future. Your best bet is to ONLY use HGH if you are already old and have a serious injury thats messing up your life. If you are young (under 35) then you do not need it. |

Yes it works, but it is also a banned substance. As far as plasma rich injections though, those do not contain HGH if it is just a normal PRP (platelet rich plasma). They just take your own blood, centrifuge out the platelet rich plasma, and inject it back into your injury. |

The labor union would never let them test for weed, there would be 3 guys left on each team or however many white guys there are in NBA |
