Good article. But also not noteworthy. People who follow Penn State football have known for years that Joe was old school and wanted to dish out his own punishment for infractions. And guess what -- it's the same case at any big college football program where the coach wants control over their program and players. And it's an awfully long leap from wanting to discipline your own players to being complicit in a massive cover-up of a child molester. But I guess it's yet another round of "let's all demonize Joe Paterno". |

Sandusky still molested kids. |
| Paterno is in hell now |

You Penn State apologists are unreal. The Freeh Report didn't "leap" to a conclusion at all. Freeh put Paterno right at the center of the coverup scandal. |

She wasn't exactly well liked by the student body. This was first written in 2007 before any of the Sandusky mess came to light. http://safeguardoldstate.org/the-vicky-triponey-timeline-of-terror/ |

Thank you, Ms. O'Neill, for starting out your article by insulting 100,000 people who had nothing to do with any of the issues discussed in your article. Inserting your own opinions and snide comments into articles is the mark of a true professional. |
