Same on Leo. Seems like after a hard series of races (OT), he has trouble recovering.

My coach alway said being hit or miss often means hit or miss mentality. **I'm not going to type paragraphs of disclaimers on other reasons he often runs bad. We know the possibilities- but it happens more with him.
Leo has always had these awful races. Then a week later, he has one of his best races.
It's funny... slower runners (most letsrunners) often have huge variations in their results from race to race. But when elite runners have bad races, people act so surprised and call them out for choking. I think what is amazing is that so many elite runners are so consistent. Rupp, for example, almost never has a bad race. We should go easier on the Leo, Jenny Simpson, Robbie Andrews, Webb types... they're only being human imo.
Rupp is PROBABLY on some sh**t well covered up by his medical doctors and Nike. Thats why he never has bad races FANBOY.

You, wiggah, Rupp is clean, and he has off races. He just doesn't bonk.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think John walker even made the finals in the 800m at Montreal. Stop worrying and degrading...just enjoy the sport for what it is. It's almost like some people take these things personally. Really weird.
Leo has a couple of stinkers every year.
As well as several excellent performances
