750m swim sprint followed by 2 mile bike sprint through sand then 3 more miles of bike sprinting followed by a 7 mile sprint over Microwave Mountain to a sprint finish in Camp Pendleton.

those are the slowest mothertruckers i've ever seen
you're right, why are they going so slow and walking? No stamina/endurance.
Great find. The sport of fitness has arrived. I recommend everyone to check this out!
You keep using this word sprint. It does not mean what you think it means.
"using fins, makes that swim a little bit quicker ..." Little bit?
You have to watch the downhill portion. Did those guys ever run before? It's atrocious.
Lol at the "run" portion.
"Most competitors have been reduced to more of an aggressive hike". You could say that again.
I like how they use the same cups you get at a frat kegger for fluids on the course.
All I can say is that they look as out of place at an endurance race as I look at the gym. The only difference is that I am aware of it and the crossfitters think they are crushing it on their little triathlon.
Those guys are hot! They may not be the fastest runners, but they can definitely list more than a pure runner. Distance runner guys are too scrawny!!!
"And here's Christie Phillips looking strong in this portion of the event!", as they show her walking during the 7 mile "sprint". I guess we now know what Crossfitters mean when they use the term "sprint".
Oh wow....a lot of jealousy in this thread.

Yes, I do not think you know what the word "sprint" means.

Yes, people who run fast are quite often jealous of people who run slow.

I read his use of the word "sprint" as facetious. Perhaps I'm wrong. Either way, why make fun of people for exercising and competing? What they are doing is more impressive than what most people are doing.

Amen brother. It is far more impressive than what most people on this board are running, I agree.
True they're not the greatest endurance athletes in the world. They're not the best at anything in fact. They train very specifically to be ready for any event the CF brass dream up for the games. Distance runners train very specifically to be lightweight and run as fast as possible for a certain distance. To claim either pursuit is superior to the other is short-sighted and small-minded in my humble opinion.
You can just sit on a Ski-doo whenever you need a break? It's only 750 meters, people.
Was Letsrun's favourite crossfit beast running? You know the guy with the tattoos that has some funky ideas on training?

Read his post again, moron. He's not saying what you're saying.
