Rochester VERY strong. Official results show them putting in quite a few more guys before any other team got in five. Admittedly a weak field except for them though. j
Could they be a dark horse to win the region?

Results from Hamilton:
Cortland gets and easy win 17- 44 - 8x over Hamilton and Le Moyne. Marcantonio wins in 19:14 with Zikry of Hamilton 2nd at 19:20. Cortland packed it up behind him (next seven or eight spots).
Course was hard and fast.
No Fannon or Ward for Cortland.
Cortland women edge Hamilton women by a point or two.

Those paces are wrong. The timing system took average pace as though it were an 8k, when in reality PSU's course is 5.2. Figure about 1:15-20 faster for an equivalent 8k.
Brockport women's team looks pretty good so far this season.

Pretty good times in the men's race too.

True. UR's been self-administering HJs for years over their "pack running."

course is 5.2, Brimstein's pace was 5:08 so subtract ~15 secs to figure out actual pace

overall results from fredonia state invite. course was wet and sloppy with standing water in some spots.
Union could surprise. Nice showing at Coby Invite, although Sturges DNFed. http://coolrunning.com/results/12/ny/Sep8_2012St_set4.shtml
i really hope this is a joke
