Teams:
1. SUNY Geneseo - They are very good.
2. NYU - They'll have three in before anyone else has two.
3. Cortland - They could lose to SLU if Marcanontio doesn't run well.
4. St. Lawrence - Even if Smolensky and Patterson run well at the same time (which hasn't happened yet) they are waiting a long time for 4 and 5.
5. U of R - Host teams either run out of there mind or blow up spectacularly. I bet some of the top guys get caught out of their depth and a conservative, pack oriented team runs out of gas late.
6. Ithaca - Bickell gives them an advantage over RPI and they are a little tighter than TCNJ.
7. TCNJ - Is Sidebottom running? Hurt?
8. RPI - They are trending downward.
9. Vassar - A lot of teams could move up to this spot. Wanger should give them a low number and a head start score-wise over the likes of Fredonia, Buff State and Plattsburgh
10. Oneonta - Normally I don't like XC teams that rely on so many 800 guys but look at the other options.
Individual:
1. Dylan Karten - Almost Won UAAs on the same course two weeks ago.
2. Alex Brimstein - He makes it close but Karten moves first and the late charge all the Geneseo guys are so good at comes up just short.
3. Sam Rakoc - Leads a good portion of the race but his two meet winning streak is snapped on Saturday (I bet he's top atlantic region guy at nationals a week later.)
4. Andy Gallagher - He's been racing well. Kinda a long shot, I know, but he's talented kid and very well coached.
5. Tom Clark - With the team title on the line he out kicks Oja, and Amengual
Atlantic Region gets five teams and these guy qualify:
Gallagher - TCNJ
Payne - Utica
Bickell - Ithaca
Longo - Oneonta
Cahill - Stevens
Zikry - Hamilton
Sewing - Rowan
