Geneseo threw down hard at Oberlin! Beating some quality teams! They should definitely be AR favorites with there depth! Kind of surprised by Fredonia in some ways, Francia looks like he is on his way back up and some freshmen kid on there team.

Fredonia looked very good in the results yesterday. Clearly a top 10 AR team and Zack Hess ran in the Open race (why, I don't know) and he would have been a scorer on their varsity 5. They could make some noise.
I also have to agree with an earlier post. Geneseo loses Lee Berube, Eddie Novara and Mark Streb and they are a great team still. Two reasons: (1) Mike (2) Woods
Top 10 after this weekend
Geneseo
NYU
Cortland
Rochester
St. Lawrence
TCNJ
RPI
Ithaca
Fredonia
Vassar or Buff State
If Oberlin was legit why aren't you guys putting RIT in the mix, they had 4 guys sub 26
(sarcasm)
I know its not in the LR nature to talk about girls times but where the hell did the Oberlin women come from!? They beat Geneseo soundly.

Good Showing for the Atlantic Region's 2 elite teams. Should be interesting to see them battle it out at regionals when BOTH teams take it seriously

Mike Woods is a great recruiter, and he really gets his athletes to fall in love with Geneseo. His AI numbers are not so good though. (athlete improvement)

Four guys under 26? That performance catapults them to a clear top-5 team in the Atlantic, maybe giving Cortland a run for their money at Regionals if they run well.

back that up with examples.
I Mean if Oberlin is a really fast short course....than this is just a fast short course.
You mad bro? These times at least match up to the oneonta course and spac if you compare them. Oberlin had everyone PR by 70+ seconds.
Those times dont impress me much. course was downhill and only a 5k..the oneonta times were probably 4 minutes fast according to my previous research and calculations. try running a real 8k.
Stop complaining about how fast oberlins times were. The race was ran like a naitonal race. They went out really hard and there was very good competition. Everyone else needs to calm down. Just admit Geneseo, NYU, and Allegany ran good. People are generally going to start running better now....its getting towards the end of the season, this was probably the best competition many of the teams have faced all year. The course was measured...
