Woodsie sure knows how to craft a team, i hope he didn't smoke a doobie and mess up the course again though!

Such a shame to see her go, no one has done more for the Atlantic Region than she has. Hats off to an amazing woman and an amazing career.
Someone please who are we talking about ? Who is Coach Susan... Curious if this is real and if so what team it is and what that means for that team.

If you have to ask...
So what is the deal? I don't believe it for a second, different course?
Believe whatever you want, we don't give a shit either way.

Different course took out the nasty gravel section in the woods and it was 200 meters shorter measured with a GPS watch and a wheel. It's a better course now just short and none of that crappy gravel!

And here I was thinking Geneseo was actually fast! Silly me it's just a short course.
The course WAS changed, but both the wheel and the watch (which was in the Gator during the race) measured it to an 8k.

Different course, yes. Short, well. Womens' gpsed at 3.72 (right on). Men's gpsed at 4.97 (0.01 short of 8k). A little flatter maybe but still the grass and the rolling terrain and the 300 meter gradual uphill. Much better course to run now after avoiding the rocks (gravel is too kind a word).
8k actually is 4.97097miles

So having a GPS in a fast moving Cart that is the way to measure a course these days ? Was the wheel in there too ? Liars... I saw everyone in the cart while they were waiting for the start NO one was wearing a GPS watch and I was with the coach who GPS'd and wheeled the course morning off its 200 meters short end of story. Not a huge deal but that is a 35 second difference still great times but not as crazy as they look. We will see at regional's thats all I have to say ...
idk seems legit. gators, wheels, gps.
...and what I need is all around me.

I heard the course was actually a little long. Almost a full 6 miles.
Its pretty funny that people are complaining about Geneseo's course being 30 seconds fast, when you have Oneonta's course which must be either down a mountain or they give runners rollerblades because its easily 60 seconds fast.
Actually, it's really funny that people complain about a course being short, when it doesn't matter at all. Cross country is about place. Who cares if you run 24:40 for 7800 meters? Which would you rather do at Nationals? Run a personal best or be an All-American? All that matters is what place you get.
