I am currently doing my faster runs in the adidas adizero adios. I like the super flexibility and narrow fit. But I have about 750 miles in them. What would be a good replacement/have they changed the adios at all?

Adios 2 would be a good choice if you like the original Adios. Most reviews have them as feeling "faster" if that makes sense. From talking to friends, they fit and feel similar overall. Nothing but good reviews from them.

The adios 2's have no flexibility at all, though. They put in a plastic plate thingy that's designed to provide maximum energy return.

How inflexible is it? None of the stores around here carry anything like this so I am just going to buy it online.
