As I'm approaching thirty, and about to be a father, I've taken serious inventory of my life. Boy, I was freaking lucky. Lucky not to get caught. Luckier not to have harmed someone or myself. Back in college, I drunk drove once a week, sometimes more. I think some people are naive to how common an affliction drunk driving actually is,too. Kids do it all the freaking time. My friends and I would routinely rely on the one who was least drunk...no designated drivers. And there were plenty more just like us.
How many here have drunk drove, be it one time or several? Is there any possible way to prevent drinking and driving among the nation's young? I doubt it, unfortunately.
