Can I wash my running clothes w/ me in the shower using cold water and liquid body soap? I'm too cheap to buy a "sport wash" and don't want to do laundry with a rather small load often. I've also heard of freezing running shoes and jeans to kill the bacteria/smell. Does this work with clothing too? |
| dumb question dude just try it |

It will work. Hot water will work better. WTF do you want to use cold? |

I do it after every run because my clothes used to smell so bad my wife couldn't be around me when I wore them. I NEVER have any bad odors anymore. I wet the clothes down then as I use body wash I let it drip over them. Hang them over the shower to dry after and you're good to go. |

I do that sometimes. Just throw your underwear and shorts on the shower floor and step all over it while you shower. To combat odors, I always use a little bleach in the laundry, even with black clothes. Even a few capfulls will kill germs. Of course, let the water run for a while and add bleach before you add clothes. |

You don't really have to shower with them, freezing works well. |
