Dwight Stones keeps using imperial for the heights in the high jump. It is not the official measure and, much worse, he keeps rounding it to the wrong height. 2.31 meters i sthe A standard. That is actually a shade under 7'7". Can[t we all just use the metric units for jumps and throws? |

2.31 IS 7'7" according to the official conversions in the Big Gold Book. It is less than 1/16th of an inch less than 7'7". Do you want him to round it to 7'6-15/16"? |

I want him to say it is 2.31 |

I have NO f'ING idea how high 2.26 or 3.59 or 4.51 meters is. PLEASE tell me how high they are going in feet and inches or I will turn it to a baseball game. (unless the idiot announcer leaves the s off of rbi's) |
