Nick Symmonds has never even spoken to Paris Hilton. Paris Hilton will not even be in the same hemisphere as Nick Symmonds during the trials. Nick is nothing if not a saavy sports promoter. Case in point, the auctioning of space on his shoulder. He has been very vocal about his frustration with the avenues for income for professional track athletes. While I can't verify whether the date occurred, I do think Nick's primary goal with all of the Paris talk is to draw attention to the sport. |
