I knew some know-nothing would chime in.

Fact: if you eat mostly protein, you'll have a hard time getting fat. If you want to get fat, the fastest way is to eat carbs, lots of carbs. Fat isn't bad but you won't get enough protein if you eat a lot of fat.
Simple as that.
Fact: Neither this tool Brian nor I said anything about protein.
(but since you brought it up, if you eat "mostly protein", and lots of it, yes, you likely won't get fat, but you will:
a) be missing out on tons of important nutrients
b) potentially kill yourself (look up "rabbit starvation"), or at least stress your kidneys
c) feel like shit from low glycogen storage
d) greatly lower your testosterone
Since you brought it up)
Fact: "The fastest way to get fat is", actually, to eat too many calories, especially too much fat. Way too many carbs can do it too, but carbs main metabolic fate, especially for athletes, is glycogen storage or immediate energy use.
Fact: I didn't say "fat was bad for you". Are "carbs bad for you"? (you'll probably say yes) I said fat (especially sat fat) is stored as body fat more efficiently than carbs are converted to body fat. And that's a FACT. You are telling me excess carbs turn to fat, but excess fat turns to.....what exactly?
Fact: it is clear you are a brainwashed fad, cult follower who regurgitates what pretend "experts" like Brian Mackenzie says.
As you said, it's as "simple as that. "
