He ran a 10.00 into a headwind. So it looks like he has speed. Could he have ran that 10.00 after rounds however? We don't know where he was after that 10.00 race.

It was pretty obvious he felt very confident/relaxed in that "B" race. What happens when he looks over and there stands Walter Dix or Justin Gatlin? What happens when he has to load it up again?

If he doessurvive and is still standing come 4x1 time. Does he run his third leg? Does he really need that curve?

I hope he gets gold this year because this is his last chance most likely. Next Olympics he will be 34yrs old and his faster days will definitely be behind him. I see him possibly getting silver in a perfect race.

I am not hating on Tyson Gay. He is an all time great!

But....

Will he be able to put races together coming off his situation? It's one thing to look good in a race he knew he could win in a one shot deal. Totally different situation in with the worlds elite with rounds contested.

I don't see him beting Bolt or Blkae if he is back and does survive. Yes the bronze is realistic if he is back.

He's looking tremendous, if he stays healthy he can get back to 9.7x shape soon. Since he dropped a pretty fast time Im pretty sure all the doubts in his mind have disappeared, he's still USA's nș1 sprinter and he knows it for sure now, I know I do. (as long as he stays decently healthy)

I like him in the 3rd leg but I dont know exactly how taxing running the curve is on his hip thingy if there's a risk then move him out, plenty of other relay setups that work just as good for the US if runs on the "straights".

I believe the only fear in his mind is his health, I dont believe he would performed worst if had raced Blake in the "A" race I actually think he would opened up even faster and win the race. Imo he didnt duck proly forced to race on the B race for "safety" reasons.

I really like Tyson. Think he is like the GSP of the sport. Its good to see a gentleman and just straight up tough normal guy speaking on sprints and the sport.
