That's it!? Not very creative at all. I think simpler is better, but this is wack. I'm sure they'll hype all the technological breakthroughs they made in regards to wind resistance, moisture wicking, and heat repellant, but they forgot to spend some time making it look somewhat cool.

These are actually very cool. Straight forward. Classic. Simple. Less is more.

Good job by Nike. All the cluttery bs is gone.

If you go back and watch through videos of the last 6 Olympics, too often the USA uni's had too much going on.

It's going to be easy to spot the USA guys and gals in the crowd.

Really...this design goes against everything Nike is - Flash & Form over function. This is even coming from a guy who has worn Nike trainers consistently for the past four years, because with every 10 lousy shoes they crank out of production (WTF is an AIR YEEZY?)- they do make a few winners.

That being said, I'm a tad disappointed in this design. I thought the 2008 stuff was really brilliant, in conjuction with the introduction of flywire.

I might be in the minority here, but I like it. Nice and simple, but pretty spiffy looking (in my opinion).

wayyy to much red. The red alternate uniforms from the last cycle, red on blue looked good. They should have gone with something like that

That's been done before.

This is cooler looking. Stands out.

Super Hero-like.

They will probably look even better in natural light.

I think the 1972 munich uniforms looked cool with the olympic rings. 40 years since then, it would have been cool to bring it back.

I like it. Simple, a tad too futuristic with the logo, but they really didn't go wrong here. They could've done much, much worse with the design.

Kind of wish the letters weren't arranged in that manner. The 'v' formation just looks a bit off to me. Other than that I'm all for the design I suppose.

I hate when Nike claims there new uniforms have some crazy technology that will take .0xx time off. Shit does not matter, Usain bolt has the world record in an old school singlet and half tights

You are right. Nike should start making crappier stuff like Puma. How dare Nike try to be innovative and make better product.

At the time, Roger Bannister was the fastest man in the world wearing these shoes: http://zero-drop.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/sp7-e1293443495849.jpg

Why are people not wearing these anymore when the fastest person in the world wore them?

Exactly. The rule should be, "if the new ones don't look better than the old ones, then we just stick with the old ones until we come up with something better."

To me, '76 is the gold standard. Fire engine red top, royal blue shorts. Simple. '72 was pretty cool, too, as was '04. '08 was "okay." '84 was horrendous, as was '00.

I saw a Nike shirt in a store yesterday with that new USA logo and thought, "Gee, I hope that's not what the new uni's look like." Ugh.
