I cannot view uploaded videos on Facebook. They start to load and then just go black. I am using the latest version of Chrome and I do not have ABP. I have the latest version of Flash Player (which is automatic in Chrome) and it is enabled. This is happening when I try it in Firefox, too. I have restarted Chrome numerous times as well as my computer. i can see youtube videos (even on Facebook), just not user uploaded videos (straight to facebook platform). I cannot find any "settings" that disable these videos. Googling the issue is not turning up anything of value. If it matters, this is actually work-related, as I am supposed to follow consumer uploaded videos for a current campaign. Thanks a million to anyone who can help. |

I will try, thanks. No, it does not work, but says I need to update Adobe Flash Player (I just did this). Ahhhhh! Updating again. |

No, it still just goes black! Killing me! I do not think it is an admin setting b/c I looked through and cannot find anything. Thanks for help thus far. |

Do you have Admin rights on your computer? If not, then have your IT department log in and install Flash. Without Admin rights, the install goes south. This happens to my computer every time there is a Flash update. It doesn't matter which computer I'm logged itto, either. Something with my user settings prevents auto updates or installing "approved" programs. I always need an IT guy with Admin rights to get it to work. |

Thanks man, I do, in fact, have admin rights and believe it or not, i am somewhat savvy with my machine. I am totally confused as to why I am getting this error. |

For IE: -are you running it with add-ons disabled? if so, run with add-ons -reset IE settings (tools->Internet Options->Advanced-> Reset Internet Explorer Settings->Reset. Chrome/Firefox: -uninstall and reinstall (shot in the dark but sometimes it works) |

Uninstall/reinstall Chrome or just the Adobe Flash Viewer? |

The browser itself. When it reinstalls flash will automatically be installed with the latest version. Here is more info about flash and chrome integration: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-google-chrome.html |

there are different versions of flash for IE and chrome. i had to uninstall the IE version then install the chrome version (which will install automatically if you go to a flash site like Youtube). I thinks the IE version is called flash active X or something like that. just go into uninstall programs in the control panel and remove ti. |

1. What kind of video are you trying to upload? Are you 100% sure it's supported by facebook? Test a very simple video to rule this out. 2. It's possible your network admin is restricting access at a firewall or other level. Try uploading at home to see if it's still an issue. |
| not what I thought |

Have you tried using a foam roller on the affected area? Generally works quite well with IT issues |

1. No uploading at all, just trying to view. 2. No restriction of access to anything. No admin other than me. |

Is this a joke? IE is terrible and everyone knows that. I don't know a single person who uses it. Everyone uses firefox, chrome, or safari. |

Sorry, I misread the original question. Is it possible your video driver is out of date? |
