Was at work and didn't see the race, did she really run the last 1000m in 2:39.7? She is back and maybe the women's 5000m WR will finally THREATEN sub 14 later this year. Even though it's just the last 1000m that's sub 13:20 pace and surely an great indicator she can threaten her current 14:11 WR for the full 5000m! |

Truly amazing. Even before today I've been wondering when will Tirunesh "Babyface Destroyer" Dibaba run an open 1500m? If she ever gets in a quality 1500m field with great pacing 3:55 is within her ability this year. Would love to see her go balls to the wall in a 800m, 1500m, 5000m, or 10000m this year! |

Juvenile go rest your nerves. Look up the post I started over 3 years ago, saying that Vivian could kick with the Ethiopians even Meseret Defar but POINTED OUT Tirunesh was still the best kicker. I also stated that Vivian could possibly beat Tirunesh but NOT on a regular basis. Get it right next time before you go off and stick your foot in your mouth! |
