My pick, Billy Ray Cyrus for "Achy, Breaky Heart" got him a TV series and the siring of Miley.
Chris Brown seemed to get a lot of press and a Grammy although he hasn't had a hit since Rihanna.... (rimshot).

Jimmy Buffet for Margaritaville

Jimmy Buffet has gotten a lot out of Margaritaville, but I don't consider him a one hit wonder. I'm not a huge fan, but Buffet has a huge catalog of songs and has been touring successfully for years. I think Buffet would still be successful without Margaritaville (although no where near as successful). He also has had some other very popular songs, "Cheeseburger in Paradise", "Son of a Son of a Sailor" and "Livingston Saturday Night" just to name a few.
Buffet is no The Knack and Margaritaville is no My Sharona.
Easy
The Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be (500 miles)
They would walk 500 miles and they would walk 500 more just to be the men who walked 1,000 miles to fall down at your door.
With the chorus repeated they get like 8,000 miles per song.
Multiply that by the number of times it has been on the radio or on TV and that is a whole lot of mileage off of one song.
that ^
Meatloaf - Bat Out of Hell also got some good mileage. I mean, from hell and all..
but he wasn't a one hit wonder

Glitter had 11 consecutive top ten singles in the UK and is not perceived as a one-hit wonder over here.
he is, of course, perceived as a complete and utter nonce...
