Dude good luck even getting into a state school. I heard from somewhere that colleges are going to become very selective starting in 2 years. WAY to many people have been applying
What courses will you be taking senior year?
What were your grades and courses this year?
Where does 3.58 place you in your class approximately?
I am a college counselor, so will be able to help.
none, drop out now and save yourself

probably took all low level classes, like a b1tch
What's the 3.58 on a scale of - if your school is a real school, and caps things at 4.0, then you're not as bad off as you think. If it's a typical Walden II school like many public schools and typically gives out extra points for AP, IB, etc., then yeah, you're hurting a bit.
Having said that, there are hundreds of schools that will gladly take you. If you had your heart set on an Ivy or a top-50 type, then you've got some work to do, but you can easily get into any number of what used to be called "teachers colleges," the directional schools, system schools (State at Blank, for example), and the like.
Take heart - the academic studies show that what you do while at college is far more important and indicative of success later in life than where you actually went.
You're fine.
I got into a top 15 liberal arts college with a 3.5/1350 not that long ago.
A lot actually, but don't get discouraged if you can't get into the college of your choice.
Further down the road.....just remember this.
I worked as an IT Manager for a Fortune 500 Company (you can stop rolling your eyes) for over 6 years before I left for a new opportunity. What I can tell you, after sitting through the hiring process more times than I care to remember, is our company was willing take the chance on a the kid that knew his stuff, came from a school like Minnesota-Duluth, and had the right attitude - rather than kid who knew his stuff, went to some private school, and had the wrong attitude and was clearly going to be office poison.
When I got my Fortune 500 Company Job, I was told by a co-worker (who shouldn't have told me this) that I beat out 50 guys for the job. Amongst them were people from the University of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Colgate.
My undergraduate degree? Bowling Green.

Wow! Wisconsin! Colgate!
You'd have gotten chewed up and spit out by someone from MIT, CMU, or Stanford. Mostly because they're real schools.
REAL men don't need kollege.

No one in the right mind would hire someone from Wisconsin over MIT.
The only people who say that college ranking and prestige isn't important are people who went to crappy schools, just like the only people who say that size doesn't matter are people with small dicks.
I have been involved in the hiring process many times and no one seemed to really care about where a candidate went to school. Honestly, many of the MIT types are difficult to talk with, socially awkward, and severly lacking in basic communication skills. Yes-- they are technically gifted, but it is much easier to teach technical skills than it is teach someone basic communication skills.
Obviously, our recruiting staff probably put some emphasis on what universities they were recruiting from, but in my experience once a resume gets to the people actually doing the hiring there is little/no emphasis on where someone went to school. This is even more true if someone has 2+ years of experience.
Size does not matter
Cornell, maybe Brown... maaaybe.

This is basically correct.
Apart from some outliers in terms of school or field, GPA in college is generally way more important than where you went to school.
There are jobs where that's not the case, but it is for most.
Anywhere you want... assuming you run 4:10/sub 9/Footlocker Finalist

It's clear that you've never actually hired someone.
ITT Tech, accepting applications
Unless you have a connection to the hiring manager (i.e. you went to the same school, or a school in the same conference, etc.), the school you went to is not really that important. Sometimes there will be a "name recognition" bonus if you went to Harvard, Yale, MIT, Stanford, or Princeton, but that's about it. Even a phenomenal school like Amherst or U Chicago don't get their proper dues because most people don't realize how good they are. The reason graduates of top schools get good jobs is 90% networking and 10% credentials.
