The men's mile race was pathetic. The women's race showed that conditions should have slowed the field down that much. The men in tonight's race are our B milers, hence why they can't achieve the A standard. |

He is optimistic about the future as his training is going well and his wife is 37 weeks pregnant so he is entering a new phase of his life. Alice Schmidt: She was really happy to win.
