I'm taking a group of high school runners to Big Bear, CA for team camp this summer and it will be my first time in the area. Any suggestions for trails, fireroads, sites to see, etc? |

Hi, if you decide to go swimming in lakes, I'd ask a ranger first on the conditions of the water. Or at least wear nose clips because of the brain eating amoeba (Naegleria fowleri) that can infest certain lakes and ponds. |
