Gorillaz in 2010 was the best show I've ever seen. Crosby, Stills, & Nash was fantastic. Animal Collective kicked some ass at Prospect Park. I'd love to see all three again. |

Been to hundreds of shows over the past 4+ decades. Now I catch 2 or 3 a year. I have tickets for Steve Winwood in a few days, then Joe Walsh in a few weeks. |

I second the Foo Fighters - just a mind blowing rock show. Maybe the only true rock n' roll 'gods' for the past decade or more. |

Dave Grohl is the best live performer I've ever seen. He is the closest thing rock currently has to Freddy Mercury. That's not to say he has a voice that is at that level, but his stage presence is amazing. His performances are one-half rock and one-half comedy. He's hilarious. And the Foos' drummer, Taylor Hawkins, is a beast to watch, as well. |

I would pay at least $5,000 to see the 1977 version of the Grateful Dead. Maybe $10,000. |

Grohl isn't a bad drummer himself. |

My wife lived in London in the 80's and early 90's. I just bought tickets to take her to see the Stone Roses, Spiritualized and Radiohead on her birthday next month. |

Concerts are always worth going to, unless the tickets are upwards of 75+ then they're usually always worth going to. The only problem is now being a broke college kid and living in a college town not many big acts roll through like back home in the twin cities. Bands I've seen though: Godsmack / Metallica Shadows Fall / Lamb of God / Slipknot Avenged Sevenfold Dark Tranquillity / Devil Driver / Opeth Children of Bodom / Mastodon / Lamb of God / Slayer Tool Tech N9ne Atmosphere (Soundset) Powerman 5000 Shihad Sevendust / All That Remains / Five Finger Death Punch If I have time/money to go to concerts I always do, most of those shows I've been to were all when I was in high school though. Always such a blast to get down on the floor/in the mosh pit for a few songs |

Saw Evanescence last month. Drummer alone is worth paying to see. |

My Morning Jacket. Great live shows. Possibly the reunited Afghan Whigs. Saw them several times in the 90s. The show of theirs I caught during their final tour, in support of "1965," was probably the best I saw in a decade that was full of great--even iconic--shows. |

To be honest I would pay to see Lady Gaga and Beyonce and Swedish House Mafia because all three have huge sets with amazing stage prescense and inigma. Their shows are top notch and they are true entertainers. Rock wise I'd love to see Queen because, well, they are just an unbelievably amazing band. |

Saw Dark Side of the Moon a few years ago in San Francisco. Couldn't buy tickets at the Hollywood Bowl ($500) each, so I rented a car, risked buying from a scalper (the tickets turned out to be good), and despite it all, it was an amazing concert. I hope yours goes as well!

Also saw The Mars Volta and Bob Dylan. Would definitely pay again to see them. Wouldn't say that for Bloc Party. |
