Every time I run in a race whether it's cross country, the 400 or the 800 I always throw up after. I can't figure out why. I always eat 1-2 hours before the race. I'm hydrated. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can stop throwing up? |

Quit eating so close to the race! |

My guess is that your pre run meals are way too high in fat which is very hard for the body to digest in the space of 1-2 hours. Therefore, it tries to expel the stomachs contents. When you run, the digestive system essentially shuts down. So, having to deal with hard to digest fats is not on its agenda. |
