KENYANS DON'T DOPE, I was one of them. Why do they have to toil for 10 years training if they could just pop a pill?

You're creating a false dichotomy here and this is the second time you've done it. No one is suggesting that hard work and natural ability aren't at the heart of why Kenyans run so well. No one is suggesting that someone could skip all of the work and simply pop a pill or take a shot and get tremendous results. The idea is that once you've done all that work and maximized all that talent you may find others who are still better than you are and at that point decide to try something "extra."

Still on Gramthlete.
Even though Kenyan running style has been emulated, the train hard win easy comes in hand with lifestyle. Did they perfectly emulate running from school since they were kids?!!! Every morning running 5 km or 3 miles back and forth? Did they emulate the kind of God given physical structure?
By the way to be more precise as you requested, Kenyans were VERY MUCH behind on technology ten years ago. Even on shoes. Guess what is happening now. Big change! Everything for training has rapidly been easily available in Kenya. Many many sponsors coming out everyday... Get this FACT. YOU COULD COUNT THE NUMBER OF GYMS IN KENYA IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY.. Mark you, to this point, Kenya has only three modern stadium..only! While NON EXISTS IN ELDORET where almost all famous Kenyan athletes are born, train and liv there. Mr. Gramthlete, could u imagine if there were gyms and modern track in Eldoret, Riftvalley! There are plans to built modern one. Can you imagine improvements that will come with that?!!!! I got my knowledge elsewhere not on this boards as you suggest to think. Again, get your facts before you judge somebody. English is not even my third language.

English isn't my third language either, so I guess that makes us about even.

And yet. And yet, you persist on judging that I'm judging
you. I'm not judging you. No one's judging here. We're all
just a happy bunch of people exchanging information over the internet.

So, Kalenjin, my new best friend, tell me: are Kenyan times
going to get even better now with the new Eldoret track?

Kenyans don't think like you, you seem to have a good plan, go and impliment it. "extra" means training harder than your friends hence posting better times than the rest of the world.

So are we to understand that Delilah Asiago, Pamela Chepchumba, Susan Chepkemei, Lydia Cheromei, Simon Kemboi, David Munyasia, Elizabeth Muthuka and John Ngugi are not from Kenya?

You appear angry at being informed who James Edward Olmos is.
What has been learned, alas, cannot be unlearned.
I can offer you nothing in solace, save the affirmation, biased I grant you, that he is a great actor.
Stand and Deliver. A great film. And, perhaps, a suitable metaphor for the Kenyan runner?

How can anybody else in the world could possibly train harder than the Japanese? Yet now the Japanese are no where close to the Kenyans in the race of marathon.

I saw the bit where he went into the 'healthfood shop', some guy made a phonecall, and next thing we know he's in the back with some naughty stuff that might make distance runners faster.

It doesn't prove anything, but it does disprove the myth that it's impossible for people to get hold of the stuff in Kenya.

Stop speaking for all Kenyans RuntheDistance - it's stupid. How do you know that no Kenyan would possibly dope. You already admitted that some (all?) Kenyans are persistent scam artists, particularly when it comes to dealing with foreigners, you seemed proud of this. Doesn't this lend itself to the fact that these guys might be scamming you too?

moron

the studies showed there was a reduction in prca given i.v epo in haemodialysis patients

no study showed i.v. route stopped all prca in haemodialysis patients

& idiot, the risk is for haemodialysis patients NOT chronic renal failure patients

only in haemodialysis patients is i.v. route preferred

iv and infusion are the most common techniques, whether it be among athletes or in the medical venues.

idiot

see above - subcut is main route in non-haemodialysis patients

how many athletes are on haemodialysis ???

Kenyans don't dope, you can put your head down, legs up and spin 360 degrees, the fact will still be the same, Kenyans don't dope. The rest of the world are not able to compete and they are trying to justify the using of drugs in the future. You can go ahead and dope world, we still going to going to stay clean and pure like we are.
