A neighbour of mine does not work and lives in a sketchy pad. One time me and a couple friends were hunting by his place and he comes out to the woods and starts desperately yelling at us to get outta there right away and never come near his property again. He told us specifically to go out to the right, after we started heading left, saying "no, no, no, don't go there, go straight thatway and don't come back or I call the cops!" I then heard a rumour from another neighbour about him growing marijuana. Should we report this guy? He has dealt with the police multiple times before, including fighting someone at his place allegedly. He had to have a vicious dog put down for a biting incident, now has another aggressive dog. |

I doubt he would have threatened to call the police if he was growing marijuana. If the police have been over there multiple times, as you say, they would probably have found any marijuana. |

Maybe he is growing pot, maybe he is making moonshine. Either way, its not really your business unless he presents as a danger to you. If he is living in such a sketchy place, he probably isn't making too much money so you have nothing be be jealous of. BTW, were do you live? Can you actually grow pot outside many places in the US? |

Not to mention that living in a sketchy place doesn't mean you are having money troubles. If you move out of your sketchy pad and buy a mansion, people, and by "people" I mean primarily revenue agents, are going to start wondering where you got the money. |

So were you trespassing when he chased you out? If yes then let it slide. You suspect he is growing weed only because you f-ed up. If you were not trespassing and he chased you from land he did not own, then screw him and make a anonymous call. Or if he has good stuff ask for a significant discount and get some kind bud. |

I don't mind so much. I truly feel that growing and selling marijuana is a victimless crime on the local level. Plus you gotta hand it to him, he is taking on enormous risk. I wouldn't do it, even with the possibility of making some nice money. No thanks, my freedom and a clear criminal record is not worth it. But he's going for it, and in a way you have to admire him. He'll probably get caught eventually and lose everything but for now, hey, more power to him in my opinion. He's also rebelling against a ridiculous law, so on principle I support him. |

Thank god we have concerned citizens like yourself, Mr Dudley Doright, to correct societies wrongs. I think going to the authorities is a little bit risky and you should probably just take matters into your own hands. You should, most probably, torch his residence and the nearby foliage.
