Look for Kipsiro to medal in London. This guy has tremendous talent and it appears he is driven this year. http://www.capitalfm.co.ke/sports/2012/05/08/lone-wolf-kipsiro-eyes-olympics-double/ |

If Kipsiro reproduces the same form which won him double gold in the Commonwealth Games, then yes he could produce some fireworks! Also think Stephen Kiprotich has an outside chance of getting a medal in the Marathon. |

Yes, Kipsiro is truly a threat to Bekele and Farah. I know some will laugh at this, but he really is. He ran 8:08 indoors this year and I think he's going to be in better shape this summer. |

I see Moses Kipsiro is not mentioned in the Letsrun preview as a threat in the Doha 3000. Well, he is likely to get their attention during and after the race, at least. |

Kipsiro is very underrated, you hear more about the Kenyans, Americans etc, some athletes who have not placed as well as Kipsiro but get far more media coverage. Such as Lopez Lomong, Rupp, Choge. Kipsiro does not have particularly quick personal bests, so perhaps that is why he does not get the recognition. But his record shows what a serious talent he is, Bronze medal in 5000m in Worlds 2007, 4th in 5000m in Beijing Olympics 2008, 4th in 5000m in Worlds 2009. Double Commonwealth games Gold in 5000 & 10000 in 2010, World Cross Country Silver 2009, Bronze 2010. I think both Kipsiro and Stephen Kiprotich in the marathon, both stand a good change of getting in the medals. |
