I would like just ONE link to a credible source for this. Thanks. (Because I don't believe it at all.)

first - google, not that hard, he has stated this on many occasions
second - don't believe what he says, he is a dirty drug cheat anyways, so who cares what he does for training
I googled and found crapola. Provide a CREDIBLE link and show me what an idiot I am.
"Lagat has maintained his health and sharpness by training once a day and running about 65 to 70 miles a week."
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=91450510"He trains six days a week, alternating short workouts with long, and easy with hard."
No. It's so funny. I go to bed late. I'm an "after midnight" kind of guy and the following day, I'm up making breakfast for my son, I take him to school, and come back and just relax. I get caught up doing things in the house. I always train once a day. Like after this phone call (at 4:15 p.m. Lagat's time), I'm going to hang up and dress and go. In the morning, I have no problem waking up. All I need is just seven hours. A lot of guys go to bed at what, 10:00? I don't know, if I go to bed at 10:00, I wake probably at 5:00 in the morning.
I don't find anything hard. Well, sometimes I feel like I need to stretch more. I need to take care of myself more–like ice baths. At the end of a season, I don't want to take too long of a rest because it would be harder to come back. But I give myself enough time to recover. And I take Sundays off.
braces?? why does he braces? He's got a nice smile!!!
Why so hostile against Lagat.. Hes one of the coolest guys in the sport..
According to my knowledge hes never been sentenced a ban for the use of EPO..!!
last time he raced lomong he embarrassed the sh*t out of him with his kick.... Lomong will move to the 5k to secure a 2nd place showing at the trials and thats it

Wrong. Way back in 2005, Lagat told Track & Field News he had a winter training block with Abdi where he was putting in 90 miles a week. Look it up.
Wrong.
http://www.letsrun.com/2003/lagatreport.phpOr do you think that Obama took his oath of office on a Qu'ran?
Yeah, to fix the gap in his teeth:

Lagat and Lomong are equally legitimate. Stop spreading BS.
Maybe he runs "Bernie" miles that are analogous to the "Badger" miles, and runs more true mileage than he records.
A Berny mile is 1.62 miles and so he runs 100mpw.

They can't, because they are white deveils. You guys are all dirty white devils
Roger Bannister ran 3:58 for the mile on a dirt track, off ~25/week as a full time medical student. Is it really that hard to believe that someone could put ~15 seconds on him running twice that, on a mondo track and pursuing the sport professionally?
I have the interview in front of me and the exact quote was it was "something I have never, ever done before"
Go ahead and use something he had never done before or since as what he did regularly. You're probably one of the people that claims Bill Rodgers ran 200 miles per week because he did it ONCE.
He tested positive for EPO, it is common knowledge, look it up.
Despite having the means to get braces for years, he suddenly decides to get them at the ripe old age of 37?
HGH use shifts the mandible over time just enough to know it out of alignment. It is also particularly useful for older athletes.
Lagat tested positive for EPO. Lomong did not. Stop being an idiot.
Do you know how long people have to wait to get braces??? A lot of people have to wait long periods of time despite having "the financial ability" because the jaw and teeth are shifting constantly for years for people.
I couldn't get braces until I was 19 because my jaw was shifting and teeth were moving till then. And even then I only had the top row and had to wait for half a year just to get the bottom row. Then I had to have oral surgery done to fix a jaw misalignment. Then I had to get more braces. And all of this was after I had been wearing a centric jaw splint since I was 15. The
Process finally ended when I was 22. Only then did my teeth stop shifting after multiple surgeries and procedures. (did I mention wisdom teeth also have a factor? Had to get those out too at age 18 just to get the braces to fit properly. And I had six of them, all impacted. )
I know people who went through similar things who are just now
Able to get braces because ther teeth have stopped shifting. At age 40. It's not uncommon at all to wait that long as many people have these problems and it doesn't make sense to get braces at one stage in life only to have your teeth shift back in place when you get them off.
And lagat has already gotten a positive, which while it was a false positive, still rang some bells. That means agencies like WADA are going to keep an extra close eye on him and give him more frequent testing. You'd have to be a fool to do something like hgh and get braces and be as public about it as lagat was. That's asking for trouble. Besides, the gap he had is well known in any race photo and something like that requires time
To fix. That means initial procedures as well before actual
Braces and those can take a LONG time to do just to start the actual bracing procedure.

Anyone who doesn't already know this frankly doesn't know much about the sport. Lagat and Li have been quite clear about this, and it's not 65-70 exaggerated by a journalist that's probably a runner. It's more like 50.
There was a LONG article in Running Times that you can find here:
http://runningtimes.com/Article.aspx?ArticleID=13602&PageNum=1There was a article by Dr. Li in the Spring 2009 issue of British Milers Club Journal, in which Li described the preparation for the 2009 World Championships, including training samples. One comment:
"Only once per week is there a double training session -- could account for the few injuries he has had in his career"
Yeah, pick a session he did once in his career as typical--typical garbage you see around here.
In Europe you don't see people age 40 getting braces, Besides
Lagat probably had "The financial ability" already a decade ago.
It is a sign of drug use that sprinters get braces these days.

Lagat is hardly the only older American getting braces:
http://www.webmd.com/oral-health/features/straight-talk-about-braces-for-adultsYou might have a point if Lagat hadn't always had that gap. But he has, and his teeth/jaw have not changed. Plus, his positive A sample isn't meaningful, because the B tested negative. There is such a thing as a false positive, you know?
I have heard that Lagat focuses on quality as opposed to quantity from another top Nike athlete and good friend of his. I didn't believe it either, and still am not sure if I do.
I know this offers no credibility, but take it for what it is.
It's funny how Flojo, Carl Lewis, LeRoy Burrell, El G, Gwen Torrance,Michael Johnson, etc. all waited to get braces later in life.
